Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977), often known simply as Elvis and also called The King of Rock 'n' Roll or simply The King, is an American icon. Presley started as a singer of rockabilly, borrowing many songs from rhythm and blues (R&B) numbers and country which morphed into rock & roll. He was the most commercially successful singer of rock and roll, but he also sang ballads, country music as well as gospel.

AnswerThis is a slightly difficult question to answer because the man who originally designed Elvis's sunglasses and who still had the original molds of the glasses-passed away recently. These are Elvis' trademark prescription sunglasses that he both owned and wore for reading and distance. The purple tinted glasses are finished in a chrome color with Elvis' initials in gold, and a TCB lightning bolt. Elvis can be seen in many photographs wearing these glasses. Included are 3 color pictures of Elvis wearing these glasses. Elvis gave these glasses to his personal jeweler and friend, Mike McGregor. The glasses are in excellent condition. Comes with signed letter from McGregor on official TCB stationery as well as a signed letter from Charlie Hodge on his personal stationery. Hodge was Elvis' friend for many years, beginning in the army where they met.
